There are definitely a group of early retirees that leave the US to live in other countries. I’ve enjoyed reading their stories but I’m not sure that would work for me. There is a large group of early retirees here in the states too. Many have significantly more than 25X their expenses but there is still stress around health care though! I read a ton of articles by bloggers everyday and it is mentioned by someone at least every day or two.
